Dear Colleagues,

I am delighted to announce an open call for submissions to the special
issue, https://tinyurl.com/2wxp7mu6. This special issue will highlight
the latest advancements and case studies in genomics, Precision Livestock
Breeding, and other cutting-edge techniques transforming farmed animal
systems. The goal is to foster innovative and responsible breeding
practices that align with global agricultural sustainability goals.
Aims and Scope:

We welcome submissions that explore:

- Genomic innovations across aquaculture, insects, ruminating and
  monogastric species

- Applications of CRISPR and other gene-editing technologies

- Precision Livestock Breeding for improved productivity, welfare,
  and sustainability

- Advances in phenotyping and genotype-to-phenotype integration

- Ethical considerations in modern breeding techniques

- Integration of AI and digital tools in breeding systems

- Cross-species genomic insights and their implications for breeding
  strategies

Important Dates:

- Expression of Interest Deadline: 1st March 2025
Submit a 250-word abstract outlining your proposed case to
  AnimalScienceCasescabi.org.

- Case Study Selection Notification: 1st April 2025

- Full Case Study Submission Deadline: 1st May 2025

Case studies should be 1500-2500 words and will be reviewed for
relevance, innovation, and contribution to the field. Please refer
