The American Fisheries Society (AFS), President Cecil Jennings, the AFS Western Division, and AFS Pacific Islands Chapter are excited to host the 154th AFS Annual Meeting, September 15-19, 2024 in Honolulu, Hawai’i.

Following an exciting inaugural Plant & Animal Genome (PAG) Australia conference in 2023, we are pleased to announced that registrations are now open for PAG Australia 2024. PAG Australia 2024 will be held in Perth, Australia at the Westin Perth from September 18-20th. The 3-day conference will consist of 6 plenary sessions and over 25 scientific workshops presented by world renown authorities in plant and animal genomics.

Full conference registered attendees are invited to submit a poster abstract. There will be an onsite gallery where posters will be presented, and a poster session where authors will be available to answer questions. The student abstracts will be eligible for a special student workshop competition.

There will be industry workshops as well as an onsite expo of tabletop exhibits presented by industry leaders offering equipment, services, and publications related to agri-genomic research. And in the tradition of PAG conferences, there will be also many opportunities for informal discussions

The Plant & Animal Genome Conference / PAG 32 is designed to provide a forum on recent developments and future plans for plant & animal genome projects. Consisting of technical presentations, poster sessions, exhibits and workshops, the conference is an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and applications on this internationally important project.

There will be approximately 200 Workshops, 2,500 Abstracts, 1,200 Posters & 130+ Exhibiting Companies ... as well as social and networking opportunities. All in a relaxed and informal setting.

The 2025 GRC on Quantitative Genetics and Genomics is scheduled for February 16-21, 2025 at Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco, Lucca (Barga), Italy. The associated GRS is scheduled for February 15-16 at the same location.

Every three years, the Triennial is held somewhere in the United States. In 2025, the Triennial returns to sunny New Orleans – one of America’s favorite cities.

The meeting covers a wide topical range focused on understanding the role of molecular networks for biological phenomena. It is intended to foster a cross-disciplinary exchange of ideas and approaches among experimental and computational scientists for using network science to understand diseases and phenotypes in animals and plants. The topic of "The Future of Network Biology" will be discussed by a panel of scientists at different career stages with complementary expertise on the topic. A number of internationally renowned leaders in the field will share their latest results, while the majority of oral presentations will be selected from submitted abstracts.

The 2025 meeting will address DNA sequence variation and its role in molecular evolution, population genetics, complex diseases, comparative genomics, large-scale studies of gene and protein expression, and genomic approaches to ecological systems. Both technologies and applications will be emphasized. In addition, there will be a special session on the ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of genome research.

The 2025 Annual Meeting will take place at the Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida . When not in sessions, you are just steps away from soaking up the breezy South Florida lifestyle at the lagoon pool with ocean views or the alabaster beach.

The 40th International Society for Animal Genetics Conference will be held in Daejeon, South Korea. It will be an excellent opportunity to bring together outstanding scientists, policy makers, professionals and students from interdisciplinary animal genetics fields to share the latest developments, meet old friends and form new partnerships.

This is the premier conference for researchers and professionals involved in genetic improvement of livestock. Delegates from around the world gather every four years to attend the scientific program and to network with colleagues.
